When WotLK was released :
Shadow priests - Thanks for all those buff, we can finally compete with other dps classes, but we will have problems due to our everlasting poor scaling.

Yeah the post was made before the PTR was up and running i think, but it was just funny priest humor.

It doesn't bother me knowing our dps is one of, if not the, lowest of the dps classes. We know it's not our fault and anyone other than the tanks that we beat on the charts are obviously doing something wrong. (whether it be gear or not)

I've read many things that say "well shadow was OP during TBC so you have to suffer now" Screw those people, I mean really. I didn't start playing this game until after WotLK was released. So I was never OP. Well I am OP, this class just isn't....

We werent OP during TBC at all. We just werent the lowest dps class as we currently are. We scaled better and could actually be on par with top dps.

Anyway, I didnt want to have this post change into a QQ fest. Its all moot point now with the changes it looks like there gonna be making (hopefully) to our class.

Im following the Spriest.com posts and its looking like were going to be doing much better in dps and some peeps are starting to worry that they will nerf the buffs before they even go live.

Spriests xcapped at like 1400 dps early, but your mana return was so important people continued to take you to feed the healers. TBH it was about mana return. nothign else.
